I might be totally proud of this following post, or totally regret it.
This is a rant post (one which I haven’t write in ages), it is regarding someone (who I think reads my blog); you know who you are. *names are not to be mention*
Here goes…..
I was with a friend and him getting our ride home, where a conversation is taking place. (I didn’t remember every single word, but here how it somewhat goes)
He was talking about Chinese New Year, his urge to gamble and the money he use to gamble.
Where it all started…
He said he would only gamble because those were his red packet (ang pau) money and those money are not his hard earn money, neither it was his parents hard earn money given to him as pocket money. He would not have anything to lose if that money he collected were gone.
Not making sense, I told him that those were his money anyhow. For his information, I told him mine and XXXX’s (the other friend in the car) parents did give him red packet, so basically our parents did not work hard for those money (are not hard earn). He simply brushes it off, saying that was another thing or such.
How inconsiderate to say things like that, maybe you were just trying to make a stupid joke out of it, or it just never need to cross your mind to say such things. But he just went over the limit by saying such things. Tell me, when you were in my shoes, would you accept the facts when I say your parents’ money isn’t hard earn money.
"God bless you" (his well known phrase), he might tell me when he finish reading this blog. I would like to say: thank you for asking god to bless me.
I wish not to jeopardize the friendship I have with him, he is a great friend (I do mean it), and however he should not have say those things. I do practice forgiveness and second chances, somewhat inside I think I already forgive him.
To random people I might to sometimes say things that totally tick you guys off big time, for that I am here to say sorry.
P.S: this is not a backstab, I see it more like a notice. Non the less to express myself.
