My Weekend (12-13/4/08) Part 2 : Nocturnal Nite

It has been so long since I have been to LQ, finally I said no yes just what the hell and hop into Julian’s car after my dinner with my parents.

From that time onwards I have been thrown with names of his friends. It was embarrassing when I bump into his friends later and I gave them “what-is-your-name-again” look, but they understood and repeated their name again. *blush*

The song played that night was tolerably okay, but somehow the crowd was disappointing. Yet I didn’t regard any second of that night, it was fun and crazy being able to party again with Julian and his mates.

It was yet another insane idea stuck us after we came back from KL; which was hanging out in McD at wee hours in the morning. Seth being a nocturnal joined us at 4 and there we are yet another gathering of old friends. Updating on each other’s life, bitching, gossiping, joking and teasing was always the tradition. It just brings back memories of how we have all know each other for an amazing 7 years, time flies.

After hours of reluclent to leave McD and dozens of times refilling a regular cup of coke for 3 of us. Dawn starts to breakout at 0710, with yawns and drowsy eyes we headed home for some shuteyes.

Happy Songkran!

Little Out Of The Ordinary

It was a trip to KL, to Central Market aka Pasar Seni to be specific, for something a little out of the ordinary from my everyday routine. Off I zoom off to Subang Jaya KTM after my lecture, which needs me to do a little switch in Sentral and off I go hop into a LRT and there I was in Pasar Seni station. (where I meet up Ezen)

Ezen doing her thing.

I did manage to get around Petaling Street aka China Town with Ezen, even got to grab a nice cup of Air Mata Kuching (quite famous for it) and snap a few photos before I meet up with Aida for lunch.

Aida doing her thing.

We were basically snapping like crazy all over the place in Central Market after lunch, we even went to this studio named “They Art Studio” where I admire all the art works on sale there.

Me doing my thing. XD

They have life paintings, photograph, graffiti, creative drawings etc for sale, even you just curious and plan to browse thru it is okay. Those people in there are friendly people.

If you are interested you could visit They Art Studio at Lot 2.02 Annexe Central Market.

Ezen and Moi

I am cutting you guys slacks now, so I am going to end here…… off we head back home with tired legs (I think I am the only one with tired legs and head home) and satisfying photos at 4-ish.

I was definitely a great trip down to KL.

p/s: look out for the photos I took that I am going to post here soon.

It has been almost one and a half year since we befriended each other in fate of STAR BRATs KL 2006, which was truly a life changing experience for 44 of us indeed in just those 3 short days together. Here we are once again a bunch of us, for a reunion.

Here are some preview of random shots before I get all the photos. (I totally regretted not bringing my digital camera.) *sigh*

Day Out With (what left of AE4) Part 1.

It all started with a few weeks of holiday, torturing boredom and some desire to hang out. That is when I start to ring up the guys (what left of AE4), for our special outing (our very first time all together; besides Joash). After agonizing planning (hoping that) my plan would not screw up eventually.

We did have fun squeezing (at the back) in Alvin’s new found glory transportation (a 2nd hand Proton); really got to thanks him a bunch. Watch an awesome new movie that just hit the big screen “Jumper”, starting Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson, and, Samuel L. Jackson. (I totally love this show with a twisted storyline where out of the unimaginable fantasy happened, where I hated Samuel for his character).

It was a let down by the photo booth machine (I don’t want to talk about it), but at least we got our refund back (and a little more *wink*). Then off we go as gal head off to (window) shopping and photo session (look for entry part 2) around the mall. While the guys do whatever they did their best (pool if I didn’t remember wrongly).

Later we meet up in the IKEA cafeteria for some mouth watering dinner; without doubt Swedish meatballs with that gravy and fries are the thing to die for (I am hungry already). We had some jokes around, throwing each other harmless tease, chit-chatting. It all ended until the time when everyone went their own ways, going to each other’s next destination.

It went well and I do hope there is a next time; especially everyone is going their own ways after foundation. All the best to you guys on whatever you want your future to be.

This day (15/2/2008) was made well and memorable by Joey, Joanna, Beatrice, Shaun, Alvin and Adrian.

15th of December

Even though how tired I am I am determine to finish this entry.

So Saturday was a pretty hectic day for me with last minute clean up, preparation and food and drink shopping (thanks to Seth and his car). I even got to thanks my guest for coming a little late.

*Ahem* I would want to admit I was having some sort of anxiety attack (of some kind). Food was plenty to go around and so are the drinks and booze.

And thanks to Alvin and Chun Wai for bringing their liquor (I do mean it), and the wine and beer I provided. Basically half of the people (including me) were either drunk or high by 10pm (kind of unbelievable). Everyone was basically having stupid loud laugh over (a lame) taboo game, and spin on the bottle (with some people doing some crazy stuff). Some even puke… *ahem*

Basically the party ended at sometime (I wasn't quite sure since I was pretty wasted), with tons of leftovers, guests wasted on sofas, others helping to clean up.

Those who stayed over continue the day by playing black jack until 6 in the morning (talk about being crazy). Where everyone sleeps in until 9 – 10 something and we went for a bat kut teh brunch in Sri Petaling.

They did later help out in cleaning or at least technically. That wasn’t my whole day yet but it is for my current entry. (thanks for actually reading)

I would like to thanks Mark, Chun Wai, Joash, Joey, Eva, Joanna, Honn Wing, Robin, Seth, Alvin, Shaun, Jian Hwa, Fernando for coming and the gift.

*more photos will be upload soon*

Wicked 7/12/07

7th December 2007

I had a wicked day.

Let’s just make it short and sweet. (Since I am here blogging at 2 in the morning)

Well after class I went for the movies with some colleges friends. Titled “The Heartbreak Kid” (starting Ben Stiller), the show was okay with great meanings (will tell you about it if I find a time) and I had a good laugh but it’s just that I don’t like the ending so much.

Next destination, to Puchong (talk about the jam we caught up) for steamboat dinner at some restaurant. Where they have this spicy soup which was their specialty (or at least that’s what I heard or what I though it is).So dinner wasn’t bad either, if you let me rate let’s say 3 and a half stars?

Well our last but not least destination, to USJ 3 for basketball. Oh, did I tell you it is 11 at night where it is drizzling. (I miss those days playing basketball in the rain) I had a great time playing too, slipping on wet floor (thanks to being bare-footed) and felling flat on the butt (twice), and giggling around.(Let’s just hope my smudge eyeliner isn’t that scary)

To end it, is to have a great hot shower.

Had a great time with: Joey, Joash, Chun Wai, Mark, Hon Wing, Fernando, Eva.

Pavilion, J Co, Jalan Alor & Kuchai Lama

After a long wait (anticipating) to go to the Pavilion mall in the heart of Kuala Lumpur (let’s say I can’t just stand staying at home or I just want to have fun), at last I got to have a trip there after my class.

With the almost usual gang of Joey, Joash, Chun Wai, I and Alvin, we set off in a rainy day. Passing through highways and tolls and few attempt of breaking the rules we reach Pavilion without a ticket. (maybe it was raining so no police was on the watch)

No doubt our first priority is to get the “famous” (let’s say I think it is just too commercialize) J Co. for their “famous” doughnut. With Joey and Alvin already in the line, and as Malaysians (I think Alvin said this) we just cut in and stand in the line with them. After a quite long but it felt short waiting (let’s say when in line with friends somehow it helped makes times go by faster) we bought 8 dozens of doughnut. (yeah I know crazy)

After a bit of coffee slurping, doughnut enjoying and chit-chatting moments (and window shopping for me and Joey) we were to walk to Jalan Alor for food. (yeah we did walk all the way from Pavilion to Jalan Alor, it wasn’t that far … really) Food was just OKAY, but I did enjoy the moment chit-chatting (not sure whether the others enjoy it or not but I sure did).

Not wanting to head back home (Alvin and Joey headed home after dinner) I followed Chun Wai and Joash to Kuchai Lama for even more food. (talked about how much I ate today) Food there wasn’t bad, especially the prawn noodle (thanks to its nice nice soup, and Chun Wai for letting me have it). Chun Wai got to leave early so it was only me and Joash left. We change our location to a mamak stall, and Joash needed to send a friend (who sprain his ankle or something) so not wanting to trouble Joash I waited until 11.15pm alone (I am not blaming him I voluntarily do so) before my dad pick me up and send me home.

Another Great Day? Definitely.

Cheers for Sweet Revenge

Even though I am currently not connected to the internet, I decided to write this entry in case I lost my will to write.

Today is 2nd of September 2007, well let’s back trace a little on what I did the few days before.

Well on 31st of August I blindly followed my parents to Ipoh for a 2 day 1 night vacation. Which was quite stupid actually, all I did was mingle with my relatives, stayed in the hotel watching TV and going around Ipoh for food.

Wait maybe that trip wasn’t that bad after all. I did get a hoodie from Giordano for 42 bucks (I think); it was on a 30% sale. It is an all white hoodie just like … (you know whose). >I miss him< Anyway to not make things awkward or weird I am going to start wearing it next semester.

On 1st of September after a car ride back from Ipoh (2-3 hours), I went to Joey’s place for barbeque. For me, this barbeque thing was more like a binge drinking on alcoholic drinks than any other things. (I did drink 1 can of beer and 5-6 cups of Hennessey X.O. ahem added with coke… mind you) I must look like a crazy women binge drinking like that. Though I am really glad I did not get drunk for others to see my ugly side (hmmm… what ugly side?).

All together the barbeque was FUN; with barbecued chicken wings, melted marshmallow, roasted potatoes and not to forget booze (which was quite sufficient). Got to thanks Joey for calling me over and Alvin for his Hennessey.

Happy 18th Birthday Joey. Cheers!

A Day Indeed with Karaoke and Steamboat

Today I finished my last paper for my mid-semester.

Before I go to the fun and exciting part, let me brief through how was today’s paper first.

Well Advance Academic English was not too easy, yet it wasn’t that hard either. Let’s just hope I just get good grades, even honestly I didn’t even flip thru to revise.

So here is where the fun part starts… I went to karaoke with Joey… yes only two of use… weird… but fun because no one was fighting over for the microphone.

Me & Joey in Red Box

For dinner, I, Chee Hao, Joey, Joash, Shaun and Alvin went for steamboat. The food was okay, but isn’t it all about fun? I guess fun is what we had, we joke around, talked, Alvin and Shaun even ate ice-cream with raw egg (wonder will they get stomachache?)

Joey, Me, Chee Hao & Joash (too bad we didn't take a group photo with the others)

We switch location to one of Joey’s friends house Weng Kan (not sure about the spelling) after steamboat dinner. We played cards, mahjong, etc.

A day to remember? Definitely … by the way I took a lot of photo today … here’s the link…With Friends for Karaoke & Steamboat
