I just finish watching Hairspray, a musical movie by John Trovolta. (just because Julian said it is good) Well this movie isn't the best musical I have ever watched. To be frank I don't think I would want to watch it again. But by watching hairspray it does bring me back to another older show by John Trovolta which is Grease and Saturday Night Fever.
Call me old fashion, call me a freak. But Grease and Saturday Night will always be one of my favorite shows.
Grease a movie with great storyline and songs plus wacky parts. And not to forget Pink Ladies and T-Birds too. What more would you ask for a show that is aired in the 80s. I still remembered the Grease Broadway Musical that I have attended a year back. I would really rather pay RM300 for a great Broadway show than a concert (no offence to those going to MCR concert)
Besides that, Saturday night fever gives the disco era shines. It shows their costume, songs, moves of that era. The plus points are those songs by Bee gees aired in that movie like Jive Talking, How Deep is Your Love and staying alive etc. ( not an hardcore friends of bee gees but I do like their song )
(I got to say that is a very weird looking pose)
Grease is Still The Word ....
1 kiss(es):
